I was unable to go to Sixpenny Handley on the Friday night as I was working in my matchbox sized shop. However, I let Keith off the hook on his own. He arrived to the usual warm Dandy Welcome on Friday night. On Saturday morning he wandered around and caught up with all the news and gossip. The weather was very kind, sunny and warm just what the DOC ordered. It was a dis-organised weekend in the best possible way and there was plenty of time for people to get out and about and explore the countryside. It was very pleasant just to be able to relax and chat to old friends and there seems to be a bit of a divide about the new Riva colour of dark blue. It seems to be a typical case of Dandy love it or hate it! Personally I love it although I have only seen one in a showroom from a distance and can't wait to see one in the flesh. It was a very quiet weekend as so many of the usual suspects were missing but Chris and Pete made us all very welcome. Sunday morning, I didn't win the raffle despite some bribery and the low cloud gave us some heavy mist bordering on rain which held off while I didn't win the raffle. The site was beautiful, the all important facilities were very clean and impressive and as long as you could remember the magic combination well worth the hike to get to them. It was a wonderful restful weekend and I would recommend anyone in the area to use the site again. The views from our field were stunning. Pam Gittins
