Swaffham is a lovely Norfolk town with a Saturday market that sells almost everything from sticky flypaper to duvets. On the edge of town is an eco centre where visitors can climb the Wind Turbines 80 metre tower to view the area. The rally was full to bursting, unfortunately Dave had to turn a number of members away at the booking stage.
Saturday morning was dry so we decided to walk into town along the disused railway track. Along the way, trying to solve the questions to Dave’s treasure hunt. It really did encourage us to take notice of things around us. This was the month when the terrorists flew into the twin towers in New York. Ron had his radio tuned in for the minutes silence where most of the camp site including Arthur the site owner and other caravanners gathered round to pay their respects. The weekend ended all too quickly as usual, as we look forward to the next rally.
