Keith and I were stewards at this Rally and as is more or less normal (well for DOC member's anyway!) we arrived at the appointed time and day to discover that several Dandys were already there and had beautifully organised themselves.  They even made us Coffee and and we had only travelled about a mile and a half.  I have may fond memories of this rally.  For instance Reliant Man (Richard Brookes)  let me drive it round the field for old times' sake as I used to own one.

The weather was very kind and on the Saturday afternoon we had a Children's Style Birthday Party, we played Oranges & Lemons,I went to the shops and bought...., pass the parcel and any other silly games we could think of.  The birthday tea consisted of sarnies, fairy cakes and jelly.  It was a hot day so we had to give the ice cream a miss.  Luckily all the 'children' behaved and as far as I remember no-one was sent to bed early or was sick.
