When we arrived we found that Dave had ordered the Sun for a change. We gratefully accepted our cups of Coffee from the Stewards Ron And Beth Bradford. After catching up with all the news of our fellow members we eventually got our unit ready for habitation. In the Evening we all met as usual in the Queen Mother suite for a Coffee evening and a chance to discuss the next days activities. Saturday quickly came and yes we were out racing the clockwork horses again. Who won? Who cares it was great fun (obviously wasn't me then). The AGM itself was soon passed and the evenings Variety show commenced.
Well
done all. What a night to remember. The magician had the children
spellbound, and Gail's dancing entranced us all. The various renditions were thought out and performed. I really enjoyed the show. Laughter and applause can not be demanded, from any audience, it has to be earned and earned it was and freely it flowed. The material used, where did it come from? That isn't important. It worked, and I am sure all enjoyed themselves.
Sunday saw us plant our second millennium tree( you can see Mick & Rose Taylors valiant effort above). Hopefully we'll be back to see it again next year, I can't wait.
