A Wet Week in Wales

Chris said to Pete I have an idea!"
"Let's do a Dandy rally sometime this year"
Pete went pale, gave his nose a tweak
and said "Let's do it in Wales for a week"

With an atmosphere that was friendly
and a mood that was light
Even though it rained all day and night
With the midges biting and squirrels too
Brenda and the 'girls' chat in the loo

Janet gave us a lift with the awning
Gerry brought us tea in the morning
We went in mountain they could fit in St.Pauls
It took Ray 3 hours one night to wash his smalls

Alan and Sue broke down en-route
Keith and Pam bought theirs from a Car Boot
Rose and Micheal came, would you believe
Caroline was there with hubby Steve
Ducks in a bucket, shoot them if you can
I went to the Royal Goat for lunch
with some others and Jan.

So many stories, so many tales
I'm glad we spent that week in Wales
