A Message From The Green Dandy

A Dandy is handy for towing around
Everything is up and off the ground
When the weather turns bad it stands like a rock
A solid door that has a lock
There's only one thing, the awnings a pain
But worth it when it's up, for the extra you gain

Sutterton is the place where the club began
I was there with Gerry, Ray and Jan
Howard and Chris from Wigan were there
It didn't rain the weather stayed fair
We picked up some tips swopped some ideas
Some just talked recalling the years
We ate a roast, we drank some beer
And everyone said they were glad to be here

Some came from near, some came from afar
One even towed by a skoda car
We said our goodbyes at the end of the day
We formed a bond that we hope will stay
Hope to see you all again some day
Mick Harvey
